Learning Environments

Learning Environments, supports teachers to work with other educators, parents, and students to create an overall positive atmosphere that promotes learning at higher levels. Creating an environment that values individual and collaborative learning for students should evoke them to feel comfortable to work within either method of completing school activities. Teachers should also create a learning environment that engages and motivates the students to become highly interested when content is being taught. Every lesson should be able to create positive interactions with both students and educators around them so the students themselves will come to class looking forward to every new lesson.

Example #1 Allow projects to be flexible towards the students with optional independent or group projects so students can stay in their comfort zone.

Example #2 Create a calming environment with soft background music or cool-toned decorations.

Example #3 Reinforce positive behavior by giving students recognition when they behave well in class with simple prizes such as a toy from the toy chest.
