Content Knowledge

Content Knowledge requires the teacher to be highly knowledgeable and skilled in the course he/she teaches. The teacher must be willing to create in-depth content that engages and interests learners to become invested in progressing further with the overall content being taught.

Example #1: The teacher gives individual advice for student improvement based on the skills and knowledge the teacher has to further the progression of the student’s work.

Example #2: The teacher models to students a variety of tools and skills to incorporate on any one piece of art.

Examples #3: The teacher has the ability to give quality critiques on any medium of art being used in the classroom.
