Assessment

Assessment uses multiple engaging assessments towards students to evaluate developmental growth. The teacher uses the assessments to create decisions based on student performance. Creating multiple assessments is a way for the teacher to measure the student’s progress. From multiple assessments, the teacher is able to create measurable and observable goals for future lesson planning.

Example #1: Receiving feedback assessing and presenting finished artwork through class critiques.

Example #2: Observe student’s work as they progress by checking in on daily artwork created such as any paintings or sketches they may have left in journaling if journals are included.

Example #3: Students write out an Exit pass on 3 important aspects they believe they learned about themselves when creating art in the class.
